In 2003 'Gardening Which' readers voted it to be one of their favourite National Garden Scheme gardens in England, Scotland and Wales. In addition it appeared in the 'Daily Telegraph' magazine 'Gardens to Visit - Over 200
of the Best in Britain and Ireland'.The National Garden Scheme has been organising the opening of fine gardens to the public to raise money for charity for over 75 years. The Scheme has grown from the creative entwining of two strands of our heritage - the national passion for gardening, and the deeply embedded desire to help those in need. The Scheme's continuing success in raising funds for its beneficiaries indicates how relevant those enthusiasms remain today.
